不滿財產分配 胞弟縱火燒兄長家

高雄市三民區育英街(8月20日清晨)發生的民宅火警，造成陳姓屋主一家四口受傷，警方根據監視畫面逮捕縱火嫌犯，嫌犯是被害屋主的親弟弟，縱火原因是家產分配糾紛。 員警前往緝凶時，嫌犯已經在家中開瓦斯尋短，及時救出送醫，沒有生命危險。(林憲源報導)

這起民宅火警發生在清晨三點多，火勢是從停在民宅門口的汽車開始，延燒進一樓屋內，屋內三名大人一名小孩受傷送醫，起火處發現許多去漬油空瓶。警方調查人為縱火，從失火民宅附近的路口監視器發現縱火嫌犯身影，查出是被害人的胞弟陳姓男子(64年次)。

警方前往嫌犯位在高雄市三民區的住處逮人時，嫌犯已經在家中開瓦斯意圖自盡，員警破門將嫌犯救出送醫，嫌犯輕微中毒，沒有生命危險。員警從嫌犯住處找到購買去漬油的發票，循線查訪店家蒐集證據，等嫌犯恢復後再行偵訊。

根據警方的調查，嫌犯和胞兄因為分家產起糾紛，縱火行凶起因於此。
