今天是中元節，廣西有在中元節的前一天吃鴨子的習俗，每年農曆七月十四，從凌晨開始，位於柳州市農貿市場附近的這個街市，將通宵達旦買賣鴨子，一個晚上有超過十萬隻鴨子在此交易。
