外交部重申釣魚台屬中華民國

對日本民間團體搭乘漁船前往釣魚台海域進行活動，外交部18日發布新聞稿指出，中華民國政府對此表達關切立場，呼籲各方理性自制，勿影響區域和平穩定。

外交部重申，無論從國際法、歷史、地理、地質或使用的觀點，釣魚台為中華民國固有領土、台灣的附屬島嶼，不容置疑。

外交部表示，對於釣魚台海域相關爭議，中華民國一貫主張「主權在我、擱置爭議、和平互惠、共同開發」，呼籲相關各方重視「東海和平倡議」理念，以對話取代對抗，經由協商擱置爭議，和平解決爭端。
