BBC交響，華格納年獻唐懷瑟

今年是華格納誕生200年，全球慶祝音樂會滿檔，下月來台的英國BBC交響樂團，特地為台灣獻上華格納歌劇「唐懷瑟」序曲。

「唐懷瑟」敘述遊唱詩人唐懷瑟掙扎於聖潔情感與肉慾歡愉的故事，序曲即以「朝聖者的合唱」段落開始，前進到唐懷瑟沉迷於異教女神維納斯的世界，再經救贖重回宗教情懷。

短短14分鐘的「唐懷瑟」序曲，華格納以超大樂團編制、複雜配器、多層次主題，帶領聽眾來回神聖與俗慾的煎熬，猶如接受浮士德般的考驗。當弦樂群反覆演奏下行音階，製造出排山倒海般的憂思波浪，對比著明亮上行的銅管，任誰都能感受主角處於對立兩端間的苦惱。
