在不久前，PEUGEOT推出了中型家用房車的雙線新戰略，而且也宣布量產301與308等新世代家用房車，前者主打平價導向，後者則主攻高端科技運動訴求，但在重藥性愈來愈高的中國市場，對於東風標致來說唯一的國產旗艦房車508車系可以說尚無法補齊合資品牌的房車產品陣容，所以讓已經停產多年的昔日607車系推出後繼產品，已經成為深耕中國汽車消費市場的下一步！
