注意國民年金時效 保障權益

中華人事主管協會執行長林由敏表示，根據國民年金法規定，年金給付請求權有5年的時效規定，即將屆滿的民眾應儘速提出申請，以免超過請求權期限，影響權益。

林由敏表示，由於國民年金保險開辦至今年9月底屆滿5年，依據國民年金規定，領取保險給付的請求權，自可以請領之日起，因5年間不行使而消滅。也就是說，國民年金的老年年給付有5年請求權時間限制，必須從符合請領資格當天起計算。

他指出，如果超過5年才提出申請，就只能補發5年內的年金了，其他超過5年的部份就不會另外給付。因此即將屆滿5年請求權的民眾，應注意申請相關事宜，以免延誤請領時機，喪失自己的權益。

林由敏表示，國民年金制度是保障沒有公保、勞保及軍保等相關社會保險的民眾，建構退休生活的重要制度。民眾除了將國民年金的年金制度作為退休金規畫外，另外還要自己有理財規劃，才能確保晚年的退休生活無虞。
